据Old Farmer’s Almanac报导，二月的满月被称为“雪月”，因为每年这个时候经常遭遇大雪天气。因此，2月19日的超级月亮被称为“超级雪月”。
当月亮处于距离地球最近的地点时，天空就会悬挂一轮超级月亮。 2月18日和19日早上，各地摄影师们已经拍摄了很多超级雪月的美丽照片。
